As my regular readers can see, I almost missed a day on my quest to post about gratitude. You see, my wonderful Odyssey of the Mind (OM) group had their regional competition yesterday. After a 2 hour drive to the competition site, 12 hours there, and another 2 hours home…I was too tired to do much of anything.
So – was it worth it, you may ask?
OH YEAH, BABY…..My wonderful little group of 8 through 11 year old girls (they got mad when I said they were only 10) placed second in their division AND are going to state next month.
WOOT WOOT !!!
Needless-to-say, Day 11 is all about my fantastic OM team: Olivia, Olivia D, Anna, Katy, Erika, Jenny, and Nina (who won a special award for her performance as well). You guys are the most amazing kids in the world and give me confidence about our future!!!!!!!!!
Plus a special shout-out to super-hubby for letting me sleep in, giving me breakfast in bed and supporting the crazy endeavors of his girls!!! WE LOVE YOU.
Tomorrow is blog chain time and I will be posting my marketing plans for my novels. Until then, happy writing everyone. Now, I’m off to catch up on my WIP.
