Speaking of Twain…

Kathryn Ratcliffe-Lee at Harper Studios visited my blog on Wednesday and left the following comment:

“Speaking of Mark Twain and author’s voice…there’s a writing contest happening over here.  We’re looking for the next Mark Twain; can you write an ending to one of Twain’s unfinished pieces? If you’re interested, take a stab at it and spread the word!”

Aftger checking out the contest myself, I wanted to pass the information to you.  So, hope on over to Twainia and check it out…It is VERY COOL.

Be sure to let me know if you enter, so we can cheer you on.  As for me..I am always a sucker for this kind of thing…so I may try my hand and getting into his voice.  Wish me luck!

  1. Uh…I love how you have editors just randomly dropping by your blog and leaving comments. Seriously, you rock.

And I’ll definitely check out the contest. Very cool.

  2. Thanks guys…I thought it was cool that she stopped by the blog too! The contest looks fun. A total challenge – but fun!

  3. Good luck! I’m sure you’ll do great! I’m still too focused. I keep hearing people calling me and they’re not saying “mommy” so it must be my characters. 😉
