Unplugging…

j0439344One of the newest members of my blog chain, BJ Anderson, had a great idea:  Unplugging for a week and focusing only on writing.  Since I have a deadline for Emotionally Intense and a self-imposed deadline for Lacrimosa, I decided to participate this month.  So, until I blog again next week, here are a few writerly quotes to get you through the week….

“The difference between fiction and reality? Fiction has to make sense.”
Tom Clancy

“Fiction writing is great. You can make up almost anything.”
Ivana Trump.

“The profession of book writing makes horse racing seem like a solid and stable business.”
John Steinbeck.

“A writer is a person for whom writing is more difficult than it is for other people.”
Thomas Mann

See you in a week.  Hopefully I will have lots of progress to report, not to mention my new blog focusing on the emotional needs of gifted kids to unveil.

  1. Enjoy! We tried to unplug, and we ended up half plugged while we finished a major revision. So the good news is it worked. Bad news, we have no will power.
